Exploring the Moon Palace in Cancun for Unforgettable Family Adventures

Hello, fellow travel friends! I recently embarked on an amazing journey to the Moon Palace The Grand in Cancun, and I'm thrilled to share my experience with you. Strap in as we embark on an adventure filled with luxury, excitement, and family fun.

Arrival at the Moon Palace: A Grand Welcome

One of my favorite things about this resort is the LOCATION. We were a 10 minute private transfer away from the airport. Who wants to touch down after a 3-4 hour flight and then have to drive another 1-2 hours to their resort? Not me!

Once we arrived, from the moment I stepped foot into the Moon Palace, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of opulence and warmth. The resort's staff welcomed me with smiles as bright as the Cancun sun, making me feel instantly at home. The lobby was absolutely breath-taking, as was the entire resort. Check it out!

Accommodations: Luxurious Living

The Moon Palace boasts an array of accommodations, from cozy rooms to expansive suites, ensuring there's a perfect fit for every family. I had the pleasure of staying in a spacious Grand Swim-Up Suite. The room's contemporary design, plush furnishings, and thoughtful amenities made it a home away from home. We had a swim up pool behind our patio that was shared with approximately 8-10 other rooms. We also had 2 queen beds, a very spacious bathroom and our own personal double whirlpool tub inside. All rooms also come equipped with a liquor dispenser, fully stocked mini fridge, snacks and an espresso maker!

Culinary Delights:

Dining at the Moon Palace is a culinary adventure that caters to every palate. From savory Mexican delicacies to international gourmet cuisine, the resort's diverse restaurants have something for everyone. My family and I enjoyed a delightful mix of flavors, with each meal leaving us eager to explore more of the culinary offerings.

One of our favorite meals was at the restaurant called Circus. This restaurant is 100% catered to children (although lets be honest, the adults loved it just as much)! The atmosphere is brightly colored, with food that children will love and a HUGE dessert bar full of fun offerings! Check out these pictures:

Family-Friendly Activities:

One of the highlights of the Moon Palace is its dedication to family-friendly activities. The resort offers a plethora of options for every age group, ensuring that no family member is left out of the fun. The playroom was definitely one of the highlights of our day at the waterpark! You can let your children run free while supervised by their trained staff! Children under 4, however, must be supervised by an adult guest at all times. Inside of the playroom, they have a jungle gym, neon mini golf, a ropes course, bumper cars, and much much more!

For the more adventurous, the resort offers a variety of water sports, including snorkeling and paddle boarding. My family and I went on an excursion to swim with dolphins - definitely an amazing experience! Plus it was only a 10-15 minute bus ride from the resort!

Relaxation and Wellness: Spa Under the Stars

Amidst the excitement, the Moon Palace also offers tranquil spaces for relaxation. The resort's spa, set beneath the stars, provides a serene escape for parents seeking rejuvenation. From invigorating massages to holistic wellness treatments, the spa experience was the perfect complement to the lively atmosphere of the resort. You can choose from a wide variety of massages, special treatments, facials and beauty services to boost your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing!

Golf Like a Pro:

If golfing is your go-to activity, you will LOVE the 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course at the neighboring Moon Palace resort (you can hitch a ride on a golf cart to get there!). If you are wanting some lessons while here, you can learn from certified instructors at the Moon Palace Golf Academy! We did not golf, but stopped by to check it out and shop in the Pro Shop and this course is GORGEOUS! I think we all wished that we had made a tee time!
